Distress Ink techniques

Here are two quick cards using different Distress Ink techniques:
Distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Shabby Shutters were stamped on to an acrylic block, sprayed with water then stamped on to card and edged with a fine PITT pen. A stamp and die set (now retired) was used to stamp the small butterflies in Distress ink tone-on-tone and then in Archival Jet Black. The larger butterfly was stamped in black, coloured with Distress inks and then die-cut and mounted with 3D foam pads.

On this second card, a small circle was masked and Distress inks sponged on to watercolour paper. This was flicked with water for the mottled effect. The tree (Inkadinkado) and text were stamped over with Archival Jet Black.
